Effective home remedies for Cervical Spondylitis

1. Exercises are the key
Regularly exercising your neck and shoulder areas will help you avoid feeling the pain caused by Cervical Spondylitis. These 3 exercises will rid you of pain caused by Cervical Spondylitis.

  • Exercise 1 –Rotate your head in a clockwise position 10 times
  • Exercise 2 –Rotate your head in a anti-clockwise position 10 times
  • Exercise 3 –Slide your head towards your right side to touch your right shoulder. Then do this on your left side. Repeat this 15 to 20 times

Performing these exercises every day will keep you away at a safe distance from Cervical Spondylitis

2. Cold and Hot Pack compress
Get cold or hot compress using the bags available for the purpose. Press cold or hot packs on the painful area for 3 to 4 minutes and press mildly. Repeating this process for 20 to 25 minutes thrice a day or when ever pain is felt will provide good relief from the same.

3. Take bath in Epsom Salt water
Epsom salt is rich in Magnesium. Magnesium is capable of regulating the pH levels in our physical body which in turn reduces inflammation levels, stiffness and pain caused by Cervical Spondylitis. This relieves people pain in shoulders and neck. Epsom salt can be used in two ways. Make a paste of Epsom salt adding a little bit of water to the same and apply it on the pain felt areas. Alternatively add a table spoon of Epsom salt in hot water and a warm bath in the same will relieve you from Spondylitis pain
