It plays a major role in protein synthesis and detoxification of various metabolites. It also produces an alkaline compound called “bile” which helps with digestion. Everything we intake, food, drinks or medicines, affects the health of our liver.

Regular intake of alcohol and caffeine, foods which contain artificial flavours like colourings and sweeteners, drinks and snacks with high level of sugar content, non organic food products, chemically sprayed crops, prescription medications and antibiotics etc can prove detrimental to the health of our liver.
